WowKeren - Bukan hanya memukau dari sisi penampilan di Red Carpet, Taylor Swift dan Miranda Lambert juga berhasil menuai prestasi besar di ajang Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards 2011. Taylor unggul di penghargaan paling bergengsi Entertainer of the Year. Sedangkan Miranda memborong empat trofi sekaligus diantaranya untuk penghargaan Female Vocalist of the Year dan Song of the Year.
Penyanyi country yang sukses lainnya yakni Brad Paisley yang dianugrahi Male Vocalist of the Year, Lady Antebellum menyabet Album of the Year dan Sugarland meraih penghargaan Top Vocal Duo of the Year. Sementara itu, Reba McEntire terpilih untuk menerima penghargaan khusus Career Achievement Award. Sedangkan Taylor Swift dianugrahi Jim Reeves International Award. Masih tentang penghargaan khusus, film "Country Strong" juga menerima tropi untuk kategori Tex Ritter Award.
ACM Awards 2011 dipandu Reba McEntire dan Blake Shelton. Ajang tahunan ke-46 ini disiarkan langsung stasiun TV CBS di MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Minggu 3 April. Bertindak sebagai presenter penghargaan yakni Ryan Seacrest, pembaca berita Entertainment Tonight, Nancy O'Dell serta Robert Pattinson dan Reese Witherspoon. Acara tersebut dimeriahkan diantaranya dengan penampilan duet Rihanna dan vokalis Sugarland, Jennifer Nettles, membawakan single "California King Bed" serta duet Carrie Underwood bersama Steven Tyler lewat single "Undo It" dan "Walk This Way".
