Tak hanya itu, album perdana Sam bertajuk "In The Lonely Hour" juga memenangkan kategori Best Pop Vocal Album. Sam mengalahkan sederet musisi kenamaan di kategori masing-masing. Untuk kategori Song of the Year, "Stay With Me" milik Sam mampu mengungguli "All About The Bass" Meghan Trainor, "Chandelier" Sia Furler, "Shake It Off" Taylor Swift dan "Take Me To Church" Hozier.

Total, penyanyi berusia 22 tahun itu membawa pulang 4 trofi. Di belakang Sam, ada Pharrell Williams yang mendapatkan tiga penghargaan. Penyanyi yang kerap memakai celana pendek dan topi itu memenangkan kategori Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Urban Contemporary Album dan Best Music Video.

Sementara itu, Beyonce Knowles, Kendrick Lamar dan Eminem, masing-masing memboyong dua trofi. Beyonce menang di kategori Best R&B Performance dan Best R&B Song lewat "Drunk In Love", lagu duetnya bareng sang suami, Jay Z.

Sedangkan Kendrick dan Eminem bersaing ketat di kategori rap. Namun, pada akhirnya masing-masing dari mereka mendapatkan dua penghargaan. Kendrick menang di Best Rap Performance dan Best Rap Song, sementara Eminem menyabet Best Rap/Sung Collaboration dan Best Rap Album. Seluruh pemenang Grammy telah diumumkan di sini.
