WowKeren - Rupanya Taylor Swift tak mau kalah dengan penyanyi senior Carrie Underwood. Kedua penyanyi beraliran musik country tersebut sama-sama memimpin tiga nominasi penghargaan di ajang Country Music Television (CMT) Music Awards 2010.

Nantinya Taylor akan bersaing dengan Carrie memperebutkan penghargaan untuk kategori Video of the Year dan Female Video of the Year. Di kategori Video of the Year dan Female Video of the Year, Taylor akan menjagokan single andalannya, "You Belong With Me". Sedangkan Carrie menjagokan single "Cowboy Cassanova" di dua kategori tersebut.

Sementara itu, Taylor juga masuk nominasi untuk kategori Collaborative Video of the Year lewat single yang dibawakannya bersama Kellie Pickler, "Best Days of Your Life". Adapun Carrie juga mendapat nominasi untuk kategori CMT Performance of the Year lewat penampilannya membawakan single "Temporary Home" di acara TV CMT, "CMT Invitation Only".

Selain Taylor dan Carrie, grup band Lady Antebellum dan Jason Aldean juga meraih tiga nominasi penghargaan. Lady Antebellum masuk dalam kategori Video of The Year, Group Video of the Year dan CMT Performance of the Year. Sementara Jason, masuk nominasi Video of The Year, Collaborative Video of the Year dan Male Video of the Year.

Ajang penghargaan tahunan saluran TV kabel CMT ini akan disiarkan secara langsung di Bridgestone Arena, Nashville pada 9 Juni 2010. Acara ini akan dipandu oleh Kid Rock. Beberapa musisi dan penyanyi yang akan tampil untuk memeriahkan acara ini diantaranya, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum dan Carrie Underwood.
