Selain "The King's Speech", film "Inception" dan "Alice in Wonderland" juga membawa pulang penghargaan dalam tiga kategori.

WowKeren - Tahun ini menjadi milik film "The King's Speech", pasalnya film ini berhasil membawa pulang enam dari 23 kategori penghargaan yang ada di BAFTA Awards 2011. Penghargaan dalam bidang film dan televisi ini digelar kemarin malam, 13 Februari, di The Royal Opera House, London dan disiarkan secara langsung oleh stasiun TV BBC.
"Ini mengagumkan," kata penulis naskah film "The King's Speech", David seidler saat menerima penghargaan kategori Best Original Screenplay BAFTA 2011, seperti dikutip dari On The Red Carpet. "Ini sangat mengagumkan untuk film kecil ini- dan ini benar-benar film kecil- hanya ada dua orang di dalamnya tapi mampu menjangkau dunia. Saya katakan bahwa seorang yang gagap didengar adalah hal yang menakjubkan."
Selain "The King's Speech", film "Inception" dan "The Social Network" juga mendapatkan penghargaan BAFTA 2011, masing-masing memenangkan tiga kategori. Sedangkan "Alice in Wonderland" meraih dua penghargaan.
