WowKeren - Marvel Studios akan panen piala dalam ajang People's Choice Awards tahun ini. Pasalnya, studio raksasa tersebut hampir mendominasi semua kategori, mulai dari film hingga aktor dan aktris terbaik.
Dua film blockbuster Marvel, yakni "Avengers: Infinity War" serta "Black Panther" mendominasi kategori Movie of 2018. Dua film tersebut bakal bersaing ketat dengan sejumlah kompetitor unggulan lainnya, seperti "Incredibles 2", "Deadpool 2", "Solo: a Star Wars Story", "A Quiet Place", hingga "Mission: Impossible - Fallout".
Sementara para aktor Marvel, seperti Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Robert Downey Jr., serta Chris Hemsworth akan bersaing dengan Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, dan Tom Cruise untuk kategori Male Movie Star of 2018.
Sedangkan untuk kategori Female Movie Star of 2018, Scarlett Johansson dipastikan bersaing melawan Bryce Dallas Howard, Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, hingga Jennifer Lawrence.
Untuk serial televisi, "The Walking Dead" mendominasi perolehan nominasi. Serial favorit tersebut bakal bersaing dengan "This Is Us", "13 Reasons Why", "9-1-1", "America's Got Talent", "Grey's Anatomy", hingga "Saturday Night Live".
Sementara itu, Bruno Mars, Drake, Ed Sheeran, G-Eazy, Jay-Z, Keith Urban, Kendrick Lamar, hingga Shawn Mendes juga turut berkompetisi dalam kategori Male Artist of 2018. Sedangkan Ariana Grande, Beyonce Knowles, Camila Cabello dan Cardi B bersaing di nominasi Female Artist of 2018.
Tahun ini, People's Choice Awards akan dilangsungkan pada 11 November mendatang. Acara tahunan ini akan menampilkan 13 kategori baru, termasuk Revival Show 2018 dan Game Changer 2018.
