WowKeren - Salah satu ajang penghargaan bergengsi bagi insan perfilman Hollywood, Critics' Choice Awards 2019 akhirnya rampung digelar pada Minggu (13/1) malam waktu setempat di Santa Monica, California. Dalam acara yang dipandu oleh Taye Diggs ini, "Roma" berhasil keluar sebagai pemenang utama dengan menyabet piala Best Motion Picture.

Selain dinobatkan sebagai film terbaik, "Roma" juga meraih satu kemenangan lagi dalam kategori Best Director. Mengekor di belakanganya, ada "A Star Is Born" yang juga meraih dua piala di kategori Best Song serta Best Actress berkat akting cemerlang Lady Gaga.

Selain "Roma" dan "A Star is Born", "Vice" juga keluar sebagai film yang meraih penghargaan terbanyak dengan tiga kemenangan. Film komedi ini berhasil meraih penghargaan Best Actor dan Best Actor dan Best Actor in a Comedy berkat akting Christian Bale, serta Best Hair and Makeup.

Sedangkan untuk kategori televisi, "The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story" keluar sebagai pemenang utama dengan meraih piala Best Limited Series. Tak hanya itu, aktor utama dalam serial kriminal ini, Darren Criss juga sukses mendapat pengghargaan sebagai Best Actor in a Movie Made for TV or Limited Series.
